Well, this question has been asked a lot, since the re-emergening of the forum, for two reasons:
The Plans Galery was an integral part of Hip Pocket Aeronautics but also a great resource with over 3.000 plans, if I remember correctly.
Technically there are no major issues to implement it here as well, it is being looked into.

What might be useful, George, would be a thread or area for specific magazine articles to be posted in. I'm thinking of highly relevant, maybe technical content articles, such as the CO2 articles you've just posted. I'm looking for part 2 of similar but I will perhaps post that in the 'Looking for Plans' category (please feel free to move or delete as you see fit).

The articles will not be uploadable however, unless there is permission from the "owners".

So, well, eh... We have a plans gallery...
It does not have many plans in it yet, only one ;D .
But at least, it exists:

Needs a separate registration, just like in the original HPA. Should be an easy one...
Please allow some (plenty) of time, for the initial setup, categories, subcatergories etc.
Next and biggest hurdle will be the plans themselves. It is uncertain yet if we can somehow use a database from the previous plans gallery. If not, most probable, they will have to be uploaded manually.
But more on that later. I will need to discuss it "internally" with some friends-members as to how we proceed and who can help...
So, good news, I hope.

So, this is clearly not a one-man job.
In order to rebuild the plans gallery, it is possible for anyone registered, to upload plans in the appropriate category.
The plan is uploaded and awaits validation by the admin, or similarly authorized person.
Bruce (Sundance12) will try to upload what he might already have.
Everyone is welcome (thinly veiled: asked please) to upload whatever plans they might have downloaded in the past from the plans gallery, if they so wish, in order to add the plans faster.
We will go through them again, to make sure there are no copyright issues.
If there is a category or subcategory missing (for example the complete RC category is not there yet), please send me a PM or email.
If the uploading sounds like too much, email it to me for uploading. Corresponding credits will be given in the description in that case.

I have no idea why you did not receive an activation email. Your email address was entered correctly.
In any case, I activated the account myself just now, for you and Glenn too.
I will periodically check and if I see similar cases, I will acivate the members manually. No big issue.
Plan uploading, now that is a bigger issue...

Try signing up separately. That's what I did. You may be able to use the same username. I end up logging in to them separately, too.
Hello George. Are there any special problems with the RC category of the PLANS GALLERY? It still indicates "Work in Progress" and is not accepting a plan I uploaded a few weeks ago.

No, there are no problems other than that I did not get around to uploading any plans or creating subcategories so far for it yet.
A bit busy with trying to finish a model..
But that is no reason you should not be able to upload a plan under that category.
And I see no pending plans waiting approval, so perhaps it was not uploaded properly.
