A very old "article" created in 2004 for Small Flying Arts, but still actual and hopefully useful reference.
The recent developments in computer assisted technologies, such as 3D Cad and 3D printing have opened many more possibilities.
This article deals mostly with some simple traditional ways to dublicate a dummy engine.
More input and adddtitional ideas are of course welcome
A more recent article, initially posted in 2011 in SFA again, updated in 2020 for the BMFA STC newsletter, this time however about 3-D printing a dummy engine.
Ha George, I was going to ask you if you wanted me to attach the 3D printer article and others that I wrote or edited from other people when I produced the 4 Scale Newsletters for the STC during lockdown 2020. But you've beaten me to it!

Hi John,
yes, I was very quick...
But this goes as far as my own work is concerned.
Anything else you can add (related or in a different thread) is of course more than welcome.
