Title: Jimmie Allen B.A. Parasol
Post by: chris46 on Jan 09, 2026, 05:59 PM
Parasol
Two years ago, while searching for plans for a new project, I stumbled across Jimmie Allen's models. These fall into the "sport models" category, but bear a strong resemblance to manned aircraft. These models have excellent flight characteristics, so much so that the FAC created a separate competition class for them. The Parasol has a wingspan of 28 inches.

That plane is absolutely stunning!  The shot of it against the sky makes it look like a real aircraft.

Hi Gravitywell,
If you're interested, take a look at the topic "Old Time Rubber." You'll find a brief description there.
