I spent several years tracking down the early version of Henry Struck's Sportsman "30", a 30" span rubber sport model first kitted by Berkeley in 1941. It was first released as the Banner Sportsman with cardboard and hardwood wartime materials. Last year I was able to find a mid-40s kit with balsa and identical plan layout but renamed the Sportsman "30".
Over Christmas holidays I built the model, got it in the air last Sunday. Quite pleased with it, and have grounded it until I get a BMK RDT installed.

Lovely. Yes, a DT would appear to be absolutely vital.
However, "...two hours to cut out all the parts..."? How on earth can you work that quickly!?
