Hi all,
one more supercap powered profile model, made from 1.5mm foam.
This time it's the Ole Tiger, downsized from a peanut scale plan by Walt Mooney. It is a racer but flies super slowly :D
I'm on a self imposed quest to reach 60 seconds with a supercap model with direct drive and flown in our gym. And I'm getting closer. This time 51 seconds, the BO-207 was 52 seconds, so there will be more in the future.
Wingspan: 288 mm / 11.3"
Weight: 7.8 g
Motor: 6x12 mm, brushed
Cap: 3V / 5F
The motor is not the same as on the BO-207, it's a bit weaker.
Here is a short video:
Cheers
Alex
That would make a nice Peanut!
Agree with Stunthenk. :) The simple colour scheme is very effective, and what a nice flying model.
Perhaps a Cassutt F1 racer for your next model.- it may have a bit more wing area.
have fun.
John
Well done! Very nice flight.
