Title: Scott Ironsides XS-1 Peanut
Post by: CF-EKM on Apr 21, 2026, 02:01 PM
My Ironsides based on Walt Mooney.
Now in its 4th season and made many many flights.
It was planned to be an outdoor model but prove it's good flying also indoors.
IIFI 2025 Ironsides made my first 1:00 min flight, fueled with as much rubber I could get in the fuselage :)

Kind regards,
Christian

Classic shots. Well done reaching the 1 min milestone!

Nice photos Christian.

It looks like you may be using a small diameter propeller - perhaps to help control the torque as your launch shots don't seem to show much reaction to torque.

A small prop and lots of rubber may be a good way to go with small models.

Happy flying.
