Hi all,
here comes another No-Cal, this time scaled down to 75%.
It's very fragile. At the maiden flight I realised one wing was warped and I had to fix that. After that and a bit more of down thrust it flies nicely and I'm happy :)
Wingspan: 305 mm / 12"
Weight: 2.3 g without rubber
Rubber: loop of 27 cm of 1 mm

Nice build, what did you do between the 2 flights. it slowed down and flew better, less rubber?

The motor was the same. It was 900 turns for the first flight and 1000 turns for the second.
To me it the speed looks quite even but you might have a better eye for this :)

Many folks don't understand how important having well defined datums are to a nice finished project.
Here it comes again, a reincarnation of the Cardinal, this time at a 100%, so 16" :D
It's really nice and slow.
At the beginning the fuselage gets a bit twisted and that's why it doesn't want to climb in the first circle, I think.

Tight turn at the beginning, wide as the power runs down.
Try more right thrust and more left rudder.
Nice flights, look promising as long as you can avoid the walls and hiding behind large objects ;D
