Good to see you here, Richard. It wouldn't be the same without your build threads.
Anyone know how/is able to contact Crabby?
Testing to see how annotated and bare photos post.
This is a Top Model Minus Thermic 900mm micro glider. It is basically an over grown Jetco Thermic 21. These models basically were constructed by glueing block "A" to sheet "B" and sand away anything that doesn't look like an airfoil or airplane. The Minus Thermic is much the same type of construction and benefits from the same building skill sets.
Now unlike the Jetco models the minus series of models has a lot of fundamental flaws in the system integration. For example the aileron servo arm is far too long to allow reasonable servo resolution. The front servo is too far aft placing one of the servo under the sheeting. In effect building in the servo making service all but impossible with out the removal of structure.
These are just 2 issue that I'd think the membership would like to be aware of should they want to apply their hard earned skill with the catapult launch to a micro RC glider.
I also wonder what is the definition of "Vintage" as it is called out under the RC section. These Minus series are over 20 years old based on the copywrite date on the plans.
WELL THE 256K LIMIT DOESN'T LOOK TOO BAD.

Hi Nigel. It's good to see you here also. Hopefully, the last 17 years of Hippocketaeronautics HPA history can eventually be retrieved using the way back machine. Thank you to all of you computer geniuses and everyone else trying to figure that out.
In talking with my Computer Guru, about all of the modeling website history out there, he asked me a simple question - " Is the new 'hpa.aeromodeling.gr' website still a free website? " I abashedly replied "Yes", in that moment of truth.
The impact of the question made me realize, that I, really have nothing to complain about, at all ... So .... thanks for the free website George Kandylakis, and thanks for all of your detailed builds and flight report videos!
Nigel, there are a whole bunch of previously active members, of the old HPA site, who have not yet "discovered" the new HPA. The only way to let them know, is by email from someone who has all of their email addresses. .

Nose Block Cowl Block
Pic #4 3287 The cowl block is glued and pinned up to dry. It would later not hold, and have to be re-glued with pin prick holes in the balsa mating surfaces.

Pic #5 3291 Bloodroot makes little pin holes in the mating surfaces.

Pic #6 3293 The noseblock is re-glued. E7 and E6 of the Nose Block are glued together, after pin holes, of course.

I'm just trying a screen shot of just one pic with the text in Jarte. Looking to see if the pic show up larger.
Curious, when I drag out the sides of the pic to enlarge it, the pic turns into one of those full sized mirrors that will exaggerate thinness and fatness of the pic - ie I cannot tell if I have the pic exactly squared up now ... :o

I just tried looking at the above post #6, while offline, and the attached pic in post #6 (screenshot of Jarte text with the pic embedded into the Jarte word text), that attached pic 'screen shot of enlarged embedded pic' , does not show up while off line. So .... scratch that idea. ::)
