Title: Wildcat, Veron Quicky Style by Paul Bradley
Post by: 9600baud on Jun 26, 2026, 08:22 AM
Hi all,

here are a some pictures of my latest model, the Wildcat, designed in the "Veron Quicky" style by Paul Bradley.

It's kind of 2.5d, a tiny bit more complex than a profile model, so well suited for me  ;D

I used 1.5 mm foam again, instead of balsa, except for the nose and around the peg. It went together quite easily. Painting was done with copic alcohol markers over a fine coat of filler.
It flies fine, I may add a bit of down thrust and left rudder. So far no nose weight was needed.

Here is a short video:

Cheers
Alex
