Too Much Wildfire Smoke firesmoke.ca
Thur July 16 2026
If you fly your models outside in North America, and if you are interested in knowing the start and travel of these wildfires, and the smoke concentration, the following map will show it to you. The smoke is too much for me to breathe, as I found out this morning. The news is all about cities and towns closing up things outside.
There is no park flying now anyways, because of all the wildfire smoke in Canada's Province of Ontario, blowing down from the Northwest, down into Toronto and Detroit (Windsor). Just walking to the grocery store this AM, the eyes were starting to burn and the air is so foul, that even wearing those cheap blue Masks, from Corona and Omicron Virus usage, really does take away that harsh smoke and taste, that you breathe in straight otherwise.
There is a Canada/USA govt sponsored, collaboration with the University of British Columbia, where by they have made an 'interactive map' of all the fires and firesmoke in North America. It forecasts into the future, and days past, and all the wilderness canoe travelers use this free online map. Play around with it - it is the neatest and greatest thing.
