Does anyone have the rules for this outdoor free flight event?
I think it is known for being a small Moffett event.
Maybe I did not post this new topic under the correct subject.
I believe there is a wing area limitation around 200 square inches and a maximum rubber motor limit of 20 grams. So an Andrade model is a bit larger than a P-30. So it would require a fairly large flying site. If I built and Andrade model I would equip it with an RDT receiver and a GPS locator. I have never seen an Andrade model in person but maybe I have and didn't know what it was.
Andrade does not appear to be an official Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) event.
Thanks for your help on this obscure subject.
There seem to be some rules in the NFFS Rulebook:

Good luck with your design

Thanks for this helpful information. The maxes for the Andrade event indicate that flights in an Andrade event at a contest would involve very long chases. This is not surprising given the maximum wing area of 200 square inches and the maximum rubber motor weight of 20 grams.
Therefore, I am inclined to build a Vintage Coupe model instead of an Andrade model.
