Title: Order of work for painting
Post by: marcin_pl on Sep 09, 2026, 01:57 PM
What is a better work sequence for a cabin model (like WACO SRE)?:

1.
- glue acetate windows
- mask them
- paint

2.
- mask empty openings
- paint
- glue windows

I'm curious what do you prefer.

Option 2 would be better for my skills and I guess easier as a process overall

I would say, option 2 is the easier way.

Maybe #2 but I am not sure.

I might paint with mo windows, add windows and then add pre painted strips of tissue as frames over the plastic windows
