And two more photos  ;)

Really nice outcome. What is the wingspan?

livingroomflight

Thanks! Wingspan is 13 inch, standard peanut.

Ok. I tried to figure out why you complained about the weight.

However, I think it should fly just fine. It's not only a matter of weight but motor (rubber) you will be using.

livingroomflight

Sure, it will fly just fine, but will it make the magic 60 sec that mark the project successful?  ;)

I doubt that, but I'll do my best and will keep you posted!

Cheers,

You may be right but I think I'd start with a simple loop of 1/8" (0.125") and only add the third strand if that proved inadequate.  A couple of my peanuts are around the 15-16g mark without motor and are fine on a loop of 3/32" (0.094").

Nice looking model.

Ένας χωρίς μια ιδέα ή, αν προτιμάτε, clueless  :)

Thanks dputt7, TheLurker!

Thank you for sharing your experience.

In my case, I could never get a decent speed and climb on a low winger peanuts with a loop of 3/32. Even the lightest ones performed way better with 1/8. But I know, a lot of good fliers are using 3/32 including some famous ones, so surely I am doing something incorrectly.

Anyways, will go with the power gradually and will indeed start with a loop of 1/8.

Outstanding work! Your craftmanship is much better than you give yourself credit for. Your tissue work is great!
