Henry Struck's Sportsman "30"

I spent several years tracking down the early version of Henry Struck's Sportsman "30", a 30" span rubber sport model first kitted by Berkeley in 1941.  It was first released as the Banner Sportsman with cardboard and hardwood wartime materials.  Last year I was able to find a mid-40s kit with balsa and identical plan layout but renamed the Sportsman "30".

Over Christmas holidays I built the model, got it in the air last Sunday.  Quite pleased with it, and have grounded it until I get a BMK RDT installed.

Lovely.  Yes, a DT would appear to be absolutely vital. 

However, "...two hours to cut out all the parts..."?  How on earth can you work that quickly!?
