Hello from New Mexico, US!

Hello all. I was led to the new HPA site when the old went off-line recently then reopened as a modelling accessory sales site. After E-mailing Bruce, he gave me the new link, and so I'm here now.

I've been doing modelling for a long time, first with glider and ROG then stick and tissue rubber power as an adolescent in the 1960's, then C/L and R/C in the early 1970's, R/C mostly single channel and some 2 channel then 3 channel aircraft, half-A C/L (Coxes, etc.).

I'm wanting to return to the old days I started out with, now have about a dozen rubber powered aircraft kits to build, Comet, SIG, Guillow, etc. Also continue with C/L aircraft. Latest kit I picked up is a semi prefab approx. 20 inch (508 mm) wingspan Consolidated Sonic Star of the early 1960's. It has a vacuum plastic full fuselage in halves, tip tanks, swept wings like a jet in airfoiled shape sheet balsa and sheet balsa tail surfaces, for .049 engines.
