Bonzo
In the 1930s, airplane races were very popular in North America. Special aircraft designed for speed were built specifically for these races. The Wittman D-12 "Bonzo" from 1935 was one such machine.
In the 1960s, Veron offered the "Cadillac" kit, which bore a certain resemblance to a racing plane. I modified this model slightly and therefore call it "Bonzo."

I have never heard of this model before.  Its a stunner.  Is it a scale model or a sorta-scale kinda.

This is a kit that VERON offered in the 1960s. I then modified the model. It remained a sports model based on a scale model.

For those interested.  A late original kit of the consul in the same series-  with the plastic prop.  This is sadly instead of an original as introduced carved item... although to be fair it would probably be ok.

The die cutting is very neat and precise and I think it would fly great using the kit parts and strip, although the rubber supplied is less than ideal!
