Just a reminder that the next meeting will be on the 1st of Feb 2026.

Update on hall:
The venue manager has advised me that he has been told that work will start on replacing the floor and heating system in March. This isn't the first time I have been given an estimated start date, so I cannot be 100% sure it will happen. No timescale for the works has been given either, so there is a possibility that the April meeting onwards may be cancelled this season. I will keep you all updated as and when I get further information.

Sorry folks I have just been called by Duty Manager at Abbey Sport Centre to advice that they are having electrical problems, and the centre will be closed until Monday when maintenance staff are available. I will be contacting the Manager on Monday to find out what the situation is for future events this spring.
