Some of you had enough forsight and saved quite a lot of plans prior to the big crash and have contacted me about "returning" them to the Plan Gallery.

Great and a big thanks to all.

It will take some time for everything to be back, but it seems quite feasible that all plans will be back in place for others to use in the future.

But it is good to know we are on the right track

"Good news" was the initial title of this thread.

It should now be changed to "Great news"!

Thanks to Garry, (yes, the one from "the plan page") we now have probably all files of the Plans Gallery. It might be close to 10.000 files, I did not count yet...

So, what is left is only a "small" task, to properly upload them to the plans gallery, with thumbnail, description, search words etc. This will take months but will be done at some point.

Clearly not a one man's job, so if there are any volunteers to help with the process, you are most welcome. You can take a directory or a number of plans, say 100 and upload them giving all necessay information for a complete database.

Hi Jeremy, not only do I not mind, I am counting on you both to continue on Aeromodeller!

You are doing a great job, after it is completed we can talk for what can come next.

I, too, continue to upload Aeromodeller. My goal for now is to complete the period from 1970 to 1990. I have all the issues, but before uploading them, I need to check and update each one.
The absence of July 1985 and May 1977 is noticeable, but it's just a matter of patience: they'll arrive.
