Guillow postal 2026

The Flying Aces Club is having a postal contest for Guillows scale designs and kits:

Anyone can compete in the indoor classic category. Going to the FAC Nats disqualifies one from the outdoor classic and modern categories.

Many of the designs in the classic category are quite lightly built and should fly much longer than many of the modern kits. This link should be for a collection of 58 "classic" plans, but of course there are plenty on Outerzone, presumably also at the AMA plans service, and in the back issues of the Flying Aces Club News, though I admit I haven't gone back and checked the partial index.  https://flyingacesclub.com/wp/about-the-fac/fac-news-back-issues/

For those who have not seen this it is an article/ interview with the FAC President, David Mitchell and Guillow's model company who are celebrating their 100th anniversary this year.
