This will, hopefully, be my Kit Scale entry this at the Indoor Nats. It's a Jodel Bebe from the Czech IGRA kit: 24 inch span. I plan to do it in the same starry scheme as Jiří Doležel's recent Pistachio version. And thanks to Jiří I now have two photos of F-PEVE instead of just this rather blurry one I found online.
The question is though, can I "do a Banham" and build it in two weeks? This would mean I could try and trim it at the pre-Nats Bushfield meeting on 29th March.

Now covered and starrified. Still a bit to do, but I still hope to test it at Bushfield on Sunday. (I was sooooo tempted to swap the V for a T on that reg! ;D )

Really nice Pete. The stars look great, I would not have thought of painting the tissue before fitting them  ( which I've just realised you only said in your Facebook post 😂)

Thanks, Chris. Yes, stars cut from yellow tissue pre-sprayed both sides with yellow acrylic to make them opaque.

"Sweet dreams"...

Nice one, Pete!

As for the registration, you should have done it, perfectly legitimate...

Eye catching scheme Pete. That was quick!

Twinkle, twinkle little star, this Jodel-build has come far
Up above the earth you'll fly, starry diamond in the sky
Twinkle, I must say at last, Pete does surely build quite fast

Nice model and best of luck with the trimming! /Andrea

Thanks for the nice comments.  :)
Here are a couple of pics now that the noseblock's been painted and the dummy engine finished and affixed. And here's a rather distant video of the last of its test flights at Bushfield last Sunday; this after a LOT of assistance and advice (and catching!) from one R. Crossley. Getting it to turn without dropping a wing was the tricky part, but I think it's nearly there.
Trim tabs, tip weight and a long motor wound up a lot.
I should have started further over. Richard caught fur me several times that day which meant it came home undamaged.

Fair bit of potential there Pete. R. Crossley would make a good cricket fieldsman  :)

Good luck with it.

Hi Pete.                             Wed April 8 2026

Very eye catching color scheme there Pete.   I see a big sun in there too.

Scintillate scintillate,  globule orific.
Fain would I fathom thy nature specific.
Loftily poised in ether capacious,
Strongly resembling a gem carbonaceous.
