Yes, Pete's report is excellent. I could picture myself being there.
As for ten pages on AI, telling me that if the tail is heavy, I may need nose ballast, not so much.

The January issue arrived on my doormat in The Netherlands today! And in January! Things are looking up. However, I was allowed a peek of Pete Fardell's report in the IIFI in the February issue, so I am already impatient for the next one!

That's promising.  No sign of the January issue here, but that's probably down to Royal Mail's increasing inability to deliver anything in a timely fashion.
