OK the Jet Hustler. I cleaned up and built the tail end, here it is all stuck together for a dry fit. I made a saddle for it which I do for all my round fuse models. This one I am going to use the thrust I used on my Mig-15 (Srull) which was slightly up a degree or two. Im going to cover this with mylar and Gampi.
The dihedral. The plan calls for flat. It looks better and I feel better with a few increments of dihedral, so going with the gut. I am going to test out the idea that swept wing requires no dihedral, but I confess to be a doubting Thomas
because it might only work in prime conditions. I work on a sliding scale of prime conditions, therefore I err on the safe side.

An old rule of thumb I used when flying a swept wing RC glider was " 5 degrees of sweep is equal to 1 degree of dihedral"

So I agree with your gut feeling

Good am comrades
I am at the long-awaited covering stage with this Hustler. If you ever tried covering a model with mylar you know what a pain it can be using even the sharpest carbon blade. I started using this  thread burner. it operates on 1 AA battery and goes through the mylar without hesitation. You can really do some tidy work. I am going all white on this thing, next is to apply the tissue (whatever I have in the supply drawer, I am hoping for some gampi) I like to use thinned out Polyacrylate to apply. Its creates a lightweight almost bullet-proof covering.

Looking at the down view I see the mistake I made whilst wrapping the formers I wrapped them without subtracting the wrap thickness from the original former so now I have a shovel-headed snake to look at because I am not going to fix this error, unless someone makes me. Bring your gun please.

Interesting project. Looking forward to its completion. Then you can tackle that other Hustler for more bonus points than you can shake a stick at. ;-)

BTW, I have a suggestion for the color scheme. See the picture.

Lincoln that's a banded krait! It looks like he likes you. The B-58 would make a great slingshot glider I think.
