And every normal person would say, yes, fine, that is good (enough).

The original had a flange runing along the botom edge, when the metal panels were welded/riveted together. Which had to be dublicated, of course.

O,3mm basswood (leftovers from my Batboat) glued oversize and sanded to final contour. One side out of 4 done.

Next come the tubes for the strut fixing and the top cover in the end. Tissue covering, doping and eventually painting, that will still take some time.
