Making the rubber motors:

The rubber motors for the Fokker D.XXIII consist (for now) of two 1/8" TAN loops, 30cm long. I have decided to 'braid' these rubber motors so they won`t collide in the fuselage:

First test flights of the Fokker D.XXIII:

Four days off in a row,... four days in a row too much wind and rain too...
But I couldn't wait and drove to my FF field today anyway:

#17
Due to the gusty wind, I couldn't really trim the Fokker.
However, I was able to test the configuration and see if it would fly at all...

The test flights give me enough confidence to continue with this project.

This build thread is now up to date.

From here on i will continue with the next Fokker D.XXIII prototype which will have a landing gear and will be intended for indoor flying.
