Thanks for the explanation of the paste technique. I did buy some Metylan, a few years ago, but was not sure of what to do with it! See attached photo. I got the impression that they mixed a drop of PVA into the mixture!?

Can you please tell me a source of Tengujo Kashmir paper?

I started to experiment with different lightweight tissues to cover blue foam. Lense tissue seemed promising. Under 10g/m2 IIRC. I will have to restart my experiments

The Tengujo Kashmir paper is used in archival restoration of books etc, so you may be able to find it at archival suppliers
All the best

I have plenty of 6 gsm that I am unlikely to use if someone in Australia would like to try it.

The important part of the name is Kozo, the type of fibre. There are variants on the name where the papers are similar in that they are made from Kozo fibre. Manufacturing processes may vary.

Many thanks for the tip. Already sourced it in Greece and definitely need to experiment on it..... ;D

Definitely worth trying!!
