     Speaking of flying over Glaciers and Mountains,  here are some realistic examples,  in this latest and best,  Nepal Disaster video of the Glacier River Ice Bedrock Failure,  by Prof. Shawn Willsey.    Fascinating and intriguing detective story with all of the skillfully organized and displayed, satellite images,  and especially the comments input also,  as these geology experts  continue to piece together exactly how it all happened.

     Here you can see the gray shadow  'face'  of the glacier,  then the flat white  'top'  of the glacier,  then becoming the gray shadow  "hanging glacier" extending a fifth up the mountain.
