Rubber weight for F1G

As I remember it, the 10gm maximum weight for an F1G motor includes the rubber, the lubricant, and the two little dental bands commonly used to keep the motor tidy, one at the peg end, the other at the front end. My real question is about the dental bands. Does my memory serve me correctly? Mike,

The rule just says 'Maximum weight of motor (s) lubricated 10 g '

Thanks Jeremy. In looking at the rules for F1B, they do include the weight of   "integrated" bands like O rings in the 30grams they are allowed, and maybe that is where I got my idea from. The dental bands I am talking about are not integrated, and therefore not included in the weight of the motor. Mike.

Of course, the bands, hooks, rings, motor pegs, bobbins etc have to be included in the 70g for the weight of the structure without motor, but I never have problems exceeding that

Me too, mine weighs about 90 grams, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I think it was Dave Hipperson who said that a heavier coupe glides better. Cheers, Mike
