And another of Lee's foam wonders.  This is a Bristol Scout C and it's about 10 years old.

You can rely on Peter Smart to turn up at least once or twice a year with an oddball design.  Some designs very much odder than others.  Today's offering was a Gotha 148B from the Cartigny plan which is a WIP, but needed glide testing.

A difficult subject to trim, made more difficut by Peter's inability to translate the trimming notes from the original French.  All one can really say is, "Bon chance mon brave."

1,2 A sweet little Guillows Dimer from Nick Peppiatt. It's a Swallow Model C Coupé.  As seen 7.5g without motor and good for 50+ seconds from a hand launch.  There is film of it.

3 Comic Cuts.
This wasn't posed.  My Wireless Countess landed on Rob's model after it bounced off the basketball net he was walking under. Yes the prop is still spinning on the Countess.

That's my stills for this month.  Andy Blackburn was busy taking in-flight pics which I'll sift through when he gets them to me and I've got video to be sent to Chris for processing so stay tuned for further developments....

It was great to get to Trinity and catch up with everyone. Highlight for me was a mass 'Blue Max' launch of 8 of Lee Bates WW1 foamies along with my two. I have video which I'll sort out into a youtube film shortly once Lurk has sent his film in for processing :-)

I have some photos so lets start off with Nick's Swallow Model C. It's a prewar Guillows kit built as part of the 100 years of Guillows. The quirky design had instructions that say cover the top wing tailplane top and left side of the rudder !!! So Nick did just that !!! It flew beautifully

I took my CO2 Telco Sopwith Pup form the DPC models kit it flew nicely after sometime in box though it scored a basket in final circuit...there's video

This a prototype for the next OMFC winter foamy build - 'Small Smeeds' any Vic Smeed design reduced to 13" with duration competition at Begbroke village hall in February. I haven't announced it yet ... oh maybe I just did

Anyway proper announcement and article on the OMFC website soon(ish) The 'Tiny Tomboy' will be a plan and I hope to do a 'Mini Madcap' to go with it

3 An Ikara Antoinette.  Could be John Foster's, could be Roger Butler's.  Dunno.  Sorry.

4 John Holman's OD Spooky Action. As seen in AM a couple of years back.  Doesn't look like it should fly, but does fly and well at that.

1 David Herman's "Anonymous".  He's forgotten the detail, but thinks it was designed by someone at OMFC about 30 years ago.  It floats around most sedately. There is a only a fragment or two of it on film from yesterday 'cos David didn't let me know when he was about to fly it.

2 Andy's Moooney Sparrowhawk.  I think it flies very well Andy is still not satisfied with it!

3 John Foster's Ikara Kolibri

4 John Whatmore's Preston Serence Coupé.  A relaxing one to watch flying.
