Hi all,

here are a couple pictures of my Microplano Veloz, plan by Walt Mooney.
Plan is freely available on outerzone: https://outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=4215

It's built out of foam and a bit of balsa. The foam is of 1.5 mm and 3 mm thickness and the only balsa parts are the struts that connect the upper wing to the fuselage.
The motor is a geared 5x16 mm brushed motor, powered by a 3V / 10F supercap.

Wingspan: 330 mm / 13"
Weight: 14.8 g

She flies nicely, although she may use a bit of down elevator.

Here is a short video:

Cheers
Alex

Beautiful project!

Is it my idea or is a tiny bit of tail heavy?

Have you tried it ROG yet?

You are absolutely right! I think maybe a down elevator would help. Haven't tested out, was too busy with other models :D

Sorry but I don't agree.
It's nose heavy.
The tail is low because the elevator is counteracting the weight of the nose to sustain the model in level flight.

Simply move the cap further back and the model will fly better and longer!
