Put together another magnetic build board.  I used 12 x 24 sheet metal and bonded it to a 12" wide 3/4" pine edge glued board.  The edge glue should prevent warping.  I used Gorilla spray contact glue.  Now I can get to building.  I got some balsa from Amazon and only 4 sheets survived so they are sending me a new batch.  Too bad cause the 4 surviving pieces looked great.  They are 4x12 1/16" so perfect for most of my builds.

Hallo,
not finding a suitable metal plate I bought this stuff:
https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/svensas-memo-board-white-00440363/
available also in black.
I'm waiting to test and use it.
let's hope for the best.

Doing and undoing is all part of the work.

Looks good I got the sheet metal for mine at Lowes

I got my sheet metal from our local heating and cooling place.  They use it to make the ducts in our homes.  It was super cheap.
Would love to hear from anyone in Northern Alberta.

Looks good. Lots of cool magnets available and it sure beats pins.

Once I started using magnets I never went back.  I need to design some printable forms to use with the magnets for various forms of clamping.  There a few on Thingiverse that I like but I like to design them as well.  Like a lot of things I just haven't gotten roundtuit.

I got a set of magnets from Easy Built, but I find them too powerful.  I am going to order some neodymium magnets and glue then to balsa sticks.  Hopefully I could control them a little easier.
Would love to hear from anyone in Northern Alberta.
