Thanks John & George - this Rat is 6.8g and covered in Asuka - so once I break out the Esaki stash on the next one it might get that weight down a sliver... best time on the day was 1:43... but aiming for 2:00+ well anyway it's good to set goals I believe  ;D Or delusional depending on how you view it!

Fortunately I live in a neighbourhood with quite some social cohesion, for this era. Also, there are a number amateur artists living here. Every two or three years two ladies organise an 'Open House Art Walk' where the local artists open their doors and let any interested people walk in to see their exhibits. This year I thought I might enter. I 'artfully' called my exhibit 'fragile structures of wood and paper' and not 'model airplanes' as that would give the game away and might provoke prejudices. In my model room I displayed three models in different stages of construction, I scattered the rest of my models all through the ground floor ( in this house the living room and kitchen are on the first floor), and even had 2025 IIFI films running on my PC. Things were off to a slow start because of the heavy showers we had this afternoon, but after three there were approximately 30 visitors in batches of two to six, to whom I explained construction and trimming techniques, let handle balsa wood, tissue paper and rubber, and showed models flying in Wychen at the IIFI.
All in all it was a huge success, with lots of interest and questions from the visitors. I wanted to make some pictures of the visistors wandering through the exhibition but was too busy! So all I have is some pictures from before they came.

What a great idea, SH. I'm glad it attracted interest.
All the best

"Thanks John & George" says THB. And I agree. But what about Paul and Ringo?
