BMFA Livestream recordings at Youtube disappeared, why???
RC Flying I can still see but it's full of advertising now. Is it from technical reasons that the livestream/recording was killed?

That was a innovative service and a pleasure to follow, but now they destroyed it. What a shame :(

That is the P-51 of Bernard Bruins

Terrific stuff, Lurk. Really nice photos- (have you perhaps obtained a new mobile telephone recently?) and a super little film too. Many thanks for posting and, while I'm here, thank you all for a great day and for lots of lovely encouraging comments that got me through!
I'll try and post some of my own pics at some point, particularly if I find any of models Lurk missed, but for now here's almost the first one I took at 7am on Sunday, when I arrived a full hour early to make sure I wasn't late. I had the whole hall to myself for about 45 minutes, but resisted the temptation to have a sneaky private trimming session. (Probably shouldn't have resisted in retrospect.)
Other pic is David Cowley with his Veron Comper Swift (see Lurk's photo in reply #31).
It was Dave's first time entering, and as Andrew's already said this model flew really well in Kit Scale. Results are still being ratified but I think he finished well inside the top half of the table. And another Indoor Nats newbie (I think); Colin Fray, actually WON NoCal. Hats off to both of them!

PS I'm enquiring about the taken down YouTube livestream footage from Sunday. Hopefully it's just in the editing room and will reappear.

Thanks to you Lurk for going to all that effort of taking the photos and film and then having to post it as well.  Between you and Chris you do a great job especially to those that have too far to come.

As much as I would like to take all the credit for the pics, the nicely focused snaps, including No. 31, are Chris'.  I'm still using my tatty little Nikon L31 for table shots.

Thanks Chris.

If anyone wants the (slightly) high(er) resolution original clip(s) of their models let me know and I'll shuffle them over WeTransfer to you.

Not taking anything away from Dave, but I think was his second year - certainly the 2025 event is when I first met him and he was flying his VMC SE5a. We struck up a friendly rivalry as we finished so close together that year....
Rome wasn't built in a day.  But then again I wasn't on that particular job.

You're quite right. Dave's second year, as you say.

Thanks for the detailed coverage - very impressive.

Let me add my thanks to all who have posted photos and videos.  The participation was great - especially the glider event.

I watched some of the BMFA livestream too.  It is really helpful (especially to those of us from far away who do not know the people first hand) for the names of the competitors, the models and the event to be captioned.  I know it is easiest to just set the camera going and leave it alone, but a little bit of info appearing on the screen would be really good.  Could that feedback be sent through tot hose who were in charge of that side?
All the best

Yes, I'll make sure that's passed on.

See BMFA Scale Indoor Nationals 2026 Playlist

The main long stream was unlisted for a short period to make a start on extracting shorter videos of the interviews etc. I am in the process of adding a start and end screen to those and uploading them as I go. More will be added over coming days. Nothing has been destroyed.

3 - A Grumman.  Ben Palliser's Bearcat?
No, this is Gert Brendels Hellcat from the Guillow kit. And the No-Cal Catalina was Gerard Brinks. And the Bristol 138 is by Chris Blanch, according to the entry list.

Big thanks for all your work on this, Andy. I really enjoy your commentary too!

CF-EKM

Big thanks for that service. It's great to have the chance to follow the event from distance.
The uncut stream is very entertaining.
Highly appreciate the many work behind the scenes. A big thank you to all involved!

Hi Andy and welcome to HPA!

It was great meeting you on the weekend. Thanks for the links and the videos. Most welcome and a chance to see again what was happening.

A most enjoyable event and the live coverage added something extra both for those present and for those who are too far away to come.

Next year as well, I hope!
