We've been running a kit scale duration event at most OMFC competitions for a year or two, and we've tried to make the model eligibility as broad as possible so that the maximum number of people can enter. This year we have taken the step of opening it up to all of you on here

Any rubber powered scale model with a maximum span of 24" built from a kit or plan that was originally sold as part of the following ranges of kits is eligible:

Keil Kraft Flying Scale Series
Veron Tru-Flight Series
Keil Kraft EeZeBilt
Dumas Rubber-Powered Scale Series (e.g. Walnut Scale series)
DPC WW1 kits
Sterling A-series kits from the early 1960's, e.g. Kit A-11 Cessna 180
VMC "Magnificent Flying Machines" , Aerographics and Bluebottle Squadron
series.
Guillows WW-1 to WW-12 18" span WW1 Fighter kits
Any Frog rubber-powered scale model.

The 2026 Classic Winter Kit Scale Postal is a very simple format - just fly your eligible model and record your 3 competition flights.  There is a 10 sec ROG bonus available if flying Indoors. All the flights should be made on the same day over the Winter/early Spring period between 1st January 2026 and 30th April 2026.

There are no complicated bonuses to apply just record 3 flight times , the name of the model and kit along with a photo of the model and send them to Chris at webmaster@oxfordmfc.bmfa.uk

The competition is open to all Trinity and Berinsfield Flyers as well as, new for this year it is open to the international community on HPA https://hpa.aeromodelling.gr/

1st prize is a VMC Fokker DVIII donated by the Vintage Model Company
