After agreement of Lurk and Chris, I moved the Trinity thread to the Events board, as a stand-alone thread.

It deserves its own thread, given the frequency of the meetings and the volume of photographs these guys post...

Went flying remains, as it used to for all other situations.

And here is a topic that used to attract a lot of posts, seemed forgotten, so time to post something...

Every Sunday afternoon we get 2 hours of indoor flying at a local school gym here in Thessaloniki.

The gym leaves a lot to be desired in terms of size, but it is available and very affordable, so we should not complain.

The majority of flying involves indoor RC planes, Minium sized. We are usually around 10-12 flyers, among them 5-6 children. 5-6 visitors also come to have a look.

But we also fly free flight rubber. All the kids have built or are building a Hangar Rat, with good flight times, around a minute. 1' 10" is the best for them so far in this 6,3m height.

We all enjoy it very much and it is nice to see younger people getting involved. Their fathers are also involved and enjoying it...

It is a long process to make new aeromodellers but you have to start somewhere.

Seeing youngsters building and flying Hanger Rats is a rare thing these days. Keep up the good work.

Difficult to be certain, but it looks to be easily as wide or slightly wider than Trinity and at 6.3m there's only slightly less headroom. Seems to have significantly fewer obstructions along the walls as well.  I'd be happy to fly my models there .

Really good to see so many youngsters getting involved.
