Proof of flight.  Olive in action with her very scruffy pilot.

Only getting about 3/4 of a circuit at the moment, but it's repeatable and everything is looking stable.  So fingers crossed.

No excuses, no apologies for the photo bombing.  Nick Peppiatt's lovely little Tefft Contester captured very nicely by Andy.

And the last post from me tonight.  Tony Calvert's Bostonian Bunny.  Been around the buoy a few times, but still a solid flyer.

Chris has updated the video to include John Whatmore's Preston Sonex Highwing.  The old link is now dead.

Trinity already?  Indeed. Not many snaps from me this month as I was trying to get Olive to fly, and failing dismally after last month's promising start. Proceedings were terminated by a truly awful launch which I have horrible feeling Chris filmed.  Others were having much more success so let's look at those instead...

Having mentioned Chris we'll start with his tiny foam Smeed Tomboy ( ~ 13" span) which is being used for an OMFC single design comp. later this year.

1, 2 Dave King's McHard Spitfire.  Top tip from Dave; the VMC MfM canopy fits a treat.

3,4 John Holman's Keil Kraft Sedan
John has history with this design.  It was the first build he got to fly. Not very far, but he was only 6 and it did fly.  When I asked him how it went today he told me that'd he'd managed to recreate that first flight almost exactly.  The model's from an original kit with some hand-crafted and hand decorated bits of John's.  You can't see the joins, can you? :)

A bit more foamie fun.

1,2 John Whatmore's build of Andy Blackburn's "cartoon scale" Hurricane.

3,4 Made me smile. Richard Preston's Halleron 'peanut scale' Dragon.

There's newsreel of both of these which I'll get off to Squirrelnet labs later today, or maybe tomorrow.
