AMA RACER by Frank Ehling
Description: This is the original AMA Racer plan and article published in the Nov. - Dec. 1966 issue of Sig Air-Modeler magazine. Designed by Frank Ehling, the AMA Racer has to be one of the simplest stick and tissue rubber powered model airplanes of all time. When built light (under 6 grams), it is capable of 1 minute plus flight times. It can be built in 2 to 3 hours. You can substitute a 9" long motor stick for the 7" motor stick shown on the plan for longer flights.
Keywords: Kid Friendly, Rubber Powered, Indoor or Outdoor Free Flight.
