Hallo,
Aeromodeller 1958 is almost entirely uploaded less February and September.
Their pdf supposed previously downloaded from HipPocket have some  missing pages.
February 1958: 86,87 (two pages) are missing;
September 1958: 473 (one page) is missing.
I'll upload February and September filling with blank pages the missing pages, hoping that someone can email to me a digital version of them.
I kindly ask images scanned at least at 200 spi, 24 bitcolor, Png format or Jpg format at full quality.
If you can help me, please send me a Personal Message.
Thanks in advance.
Paolo

Sorry for my previous error:
the missing page in September 1958 is the number 470 "Decor Detail".
Doing and undoing is all part of the work.

The AerModeller archive in the Plan Gallery is now fully restored to where it was before the last meltdown of HPA.  In fact it has been improved by adding a couple of issues and adding some pages missing from the scans.

Many thanks to Paolo ( iglk48 j and Nigel ( Nigel_M ) for their  invaluable contributions.  Paolo restored 34 years from 1957 to 1991 and Nigel was the main source for the missing pages.

Thanks to everyone who helped, including George and all who provided contributions and encouragement
All the best

Those who have been watching the Plans Gallery will have noticed that Nigel_M was able to borrow from Paul Briggs his collection of AeroModellers from 1936-8 and that Nigel has been doing the scanning (the really big job - many thanks to Nigel - I suspect he never wants to see an email from me again! ;D ) and I have been doing post-production of the scans that Nigel was able to send me, putting the magazines together, doing the descriptions and uploading them.

We found some absolute gems in these magazines and they are really worth reading.  The highlight came at the end - the December 1938 issue included the "Free Giveaway" Hawker Hurricane silhouette glider plan and we have uploaded that into the Plans Gallery separately.

We now missing only issue Nos 2,3 and 36 (Jan/Feb 1936, Mar 1936 ad Nov 1938).  We are also missing covers for Feb 1938 and Mar 1938.

I will be travelling out to the Adrian Bryant Flying Field at West Wyalong, where most of the material that AB collected and that has otherwise been donated to the NSW Free Flight Society is lodged but if any of you have (or have access to) any of the missing material, you can save me a 6 hour drive there and back on what may be a wild goose chase (the NSWFFS archivist is still opening boxes to see what we actually have! So there's no guarantee that my trip will be useful). BTW we know about the SAM 1066 archives (which have now gone to BMFA) and the BMFA archives, and will approach them as a last resort.  In that category also is the current owners of AeroModeller - they have issue reprints of some issues in the past and it might be worthwhile asking them to complete the historical collection, since we have got so close.

Anyway please give it some thought before we pester those good people.

PS this post may b a little premature - in relation to the December 1938 issue.  The Hurricane glider is available in the Plans Gallery now and I have uploaded the magazine, but George, who is a very busy man keeping all the HPA balls in the air and building exquisite models, still has to sprinkle his " oofle dust" (for those who remember "Sooty" )over it beofre it will be gnerally available.

Thanks Jeremy and of course Nigel and Paul as well.

Great job, almost the complete Aeromodeller history! Quite an achievement by all who took up this task all these months, with you and Paolo having done the biggest part.
