My issue 1068 (still no month on the cover but this would be the May issue) plopped on my doorstep about two weeks ago.

Chris was right about this, see up-thread; it is deliberate.

I was nattering with Colin at Trinity a month or three back and he said the reason the publishers have done this is because newsagents weren't putting the magazines on the shelves when they finally turned up because the inclusion of the month made them seem out of date.

Why are they still only "finally" turning up!

Mine also arrived today.

I recently subscribed to the Pocketmags digital version of AeroModeller, after my subscription to the proper version ran out at issue 1067. I have succesfully downloaded and printed issues 1069 and 1070, but I can't find issue 1068, which I believe was May 2026. For those of you with a Pocketmags subscription, I'd really like to know if it's there or not.

Jmk89

Yes, Mike.  I have 1068 through  Pocketmags.  Maybe your subscription didn't start in time to catch it ( check in your account to see when your subscription year ends - if it's May  in 2027 then you missed out). You can always buy the issue as a back issue

Thanks Jeremy. I don't have a problem paying for it as a back issue, but I can'find it amongst the back issues. Mike.

Hmmm. That stumps me.
How about this for a cunning plan?  Don't use your account but search for AM using the search function on the front page of Pocketmags.  That should show you everything published, I think

I've already done that Jeremy, and that didn't work either. I have contacted Pocketmags by email, detailing the problem, but haven't had a reply yet. Mike.

Mike,

If you can't scare up a copy of No. 1068 by other means let me know your address and I'll send you my, paper, copy.  I've just had a flick through and there's nothing in it that I need to refer back to.

Cheers,
Lurk

That's very kind of you Lurks, but as it has turned out in the last 15 minutes, it won't be necessary. See what follows, Mike

Apologies, you were right. What I did was search on Google "Pocketmags Aeromodeller". I did not log in. And there right at the top was the issue that I was looking for. I then had to log in, in order to put it in the cart.I paid my money, printed 50 pages, and Im looking at it now..
Clearly, the key to it showing up was "Don't use your account". I still am a bit bewildered that you have to start the process anonymously. Still, all's well that ends well. And once again, thanks. Mike

Mike
I'm afraid that in order to work out an issue with a computerised system, you have to try to think like a late teen boy who doesn't get out much (actually at all), only consumes takeaway food and energy drinks with vodka or tequila, is frightened of gurls and spends all his hours in darkened rooms with computers.

Do you wonder that ordinary people find the way that the programs they develodon't make a huge amount of sense?

{At least they don't walk on my lawn!!!}
